The industry partnership is part of the Transportation Design Masters course offered by the college and follows on from last year's project with Alfa Romeo.<br /><div style="text-align: justify;"> <br />The SPD is well positioned to take advantage of the wealth of design expertise present in Italy. The country has produced many of the World's most influential automotive designers and design studios and is witnessing a renewed importance in the art as a result of the current global push by manufacturers to reinforce brand identity.<br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://bp3.blogger.com/_QMMrausm6nw/RhkYROI0_II/AAAAAAAAAF8/BtOJ1BnmkT4/s1600-h/lamborghini-sketch-2.jpg"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer;" src="http://bp3.blogger.com/_QMMrausm6nw/RhkYROI0_II/AAAAAAAAAF8/BtOJ1BnmkT4/s400/lamborghini-sketch-2.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5051095141204688002" border="0" /></a>Lamborghini's presence in this year's course means that Walter da Silva, director of design at Audi-Seat-Lamborghini will help coordinate the course with Professor Marco Bonetto; additionally, Luc Donckerwolke, head of design at Lamborghini will also be involved.
